WE HAVE LIFT OFF!!! ON TV TODAY 😎🕺 . Would WE HAVE LIFT OFF!!! ON TV TODAY 😎🕺
 .
Would love you to join me as we celebrate the locals of #armidale on TV today
.
Tune in (or set your record buttons) @ 1.30pm, ON TEN **TODAY**
.
A special thanks to all those that not only shared their magnificent backyard with us, but who opened their hearts and let our TV cameras in.
.
Armidale, you can no longer use the term “hidden treasure” 😉
 .
Ps did I say “today” enough times? 😆🤪🙏 Jen xx
ARMIDALE IN THE SPOTLIGHT Ready for another cele ARMIDALE IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Ready for another celebration of a brilliant person and travel experience for us all?
.
Meet James Rainger from @fleetadventures
.
He not only spends his life taking us travellers on scenic chopper tours over his World-Heritage Listed backyard of the #newengland region – he’s one of the many brilliant pilots who you’ll find hovering above the blazing heat helping fight our Australian Bushfires.
.
When I shared my nerves about flying, he settled me with in seconds. Super grounded, in safe hands kind-a-feeling, with the biggest sparkle in his eye.
.
“To be part of the firefighting team is being in the #armidale community - we all live here, our kids go to school here, so we love it. Armidale is a community where we all band together, we’re very passionate about our backyard, and we hope it shows.. and we certainly hope people come and see what it’s like. We’ve got a unique view of part of the world that not many people get to see. And there are not hordes of people here, so it’s very personal, we like to bring people into our world and our life – and share it – thank you for taking the time to come and visit us… “
.
As for the flight? Put it on your @theaustralianbucketlist

ARMIDALE IN THE SPOTLIGHT . Take a bow Sam Martin. ARMIDALE IN THE SPOTLIGHT
.
Take a bow Sam Martin. You’re the kind of dreamer and doer I want to be every weekend we take a break and let our minds wonder about “one day”.
.
Sam is the owner, and founder of Great Hops Brewery, and the thing I love? Is he also happens to be a dentist who turned his passion into reality
.
Great Hops Brewery is craft brewery that sits in the middle of a working farm in the outskirts of Armidale
.
It’s the kind of place where you walk in and the beers are being brewed in front of you, the cows are chewing on grass just outside the open door, and every Friday night you’ll find it packed full of locals enjoying a local brew and burger, with few cool tunes.
.
The kind of vibe that’s popping up all over regional Australia and we all love it
.
It’s the kind of place where once we finished filming, we stayed and hung out, chatted to local farmers, watched them celebrate the recent rains, heard about life living in the country. Swapped stories about how my life feels too fast in the city.
.
The kid of place where the locals I met kept telling me what a special guy Sam is in how he just loves giving back to the community.
.
The kind of people who are super grateful.
.
The kind of place I highly recommend you visit.
.
GREAT HOPS BREWERY WILL BE FEATURED ON OIR TV SPECIAL ON ARMIDALE THIS SATURDAY 1.30pm ON TEN

ARMIDALE IN THE SPOTLIGHT . You want know what Abo ARMIDALE IN THE SPOTLIGHT
.
You want know what Aboriginal Artists in #armidale in the #newengland region of NSW are saying through their art right now?
.
They’re helping us all step into a BRIGHT FUTURE
.
I want you to meet Rose, a custodian of the Aboriginal Culture Centre and Keeping Place in Armidale, who helps shine the light on the incredible artwork that is being produced by Aboriginal artist across the region, and she tells me, through art, their artists are “creating” a bright future.
.
“The artists, the aboriginal artists are actually stepping into “creation of a new future”, of a bright future. We have cried with the rest of Australia with the devastation that has occurred this past year, with the bushfires, with COVID, but what we are looking at now, what our young artists are saying is no, the beauty hasn’t left – it’s here. It’s in our land, our water our sky, what we eat - everything is here. And look at what they are saying on canvas here. It’s striking isn’t it?”
.
**ROSE WILL BE FEATURED ON OUR PLACES WE GO SPECIAL ON ARMIDALE THIS SATURDAY @ 1.30PM ON TEN ***
