There is something about #Renmark that absolutely captivated us. We actually didn't know what to expect and were blown away as a result... this town on the #MurrayRiver in #SouthAustralia is doing BIG things! The river is, of course, the centrepiece. Waterskiing, wake boarding, boating, fishing and houseboating are the name of the game. But have you ever been on a BBQ boat? @rivermurrayhouseboats are pioneering the way! And you can even take it up the river to the very cool @woolshedbrewery one of the best places to hang out on the river! The Murray can also be paddled under your own steam and a kayak trip with @canoetheriverland through the backwaters and wetlands of the Murray is an absolute MUST. But what is life without coffee? ☕️ Us Aussies always need a good latte and local man Callum is filling the need up here with the pioneering @arrosto_coffee - which in our opinion is worth the trip to Renmark alone! You can find some of the best wines of the region plus some pretty magnificent Thai food on board the restored paddlesteamer (what else!) @murrayriverqueen - it has it's own regional cellar door and wine bar! Finally, one of the best ways to start and end your day (and relax in the middle of it, to be honest) is at the @big4renmark . Stretched along 1km of the riverfront, with direct access to the water, plus its own waterpark and pool to enjoy (and much more), this is where you can watch the sunset with a cold drink and maybe a quick water ski if you know the right people! Thanks to everyone in Renmark and @riverlandsouthaustralia for welcoming us - we will definitely be back! If you missed this episode today, jump online to our website for the full episode and blog - link in our profile Today we will be dreaming about this huge platter of fresh prawns we devoured from @off_the_wharf in @lakesentrance and shared in our show yesterday. Do you love prawns as much as we do? 🦐
Happy Easter! We are thinking of all those lucky people who are spending #EasterWeekend in Wallaga Lake and Bermagui on the sparkling #SapphireCoast #NSW - @big4wallagalakehp is probably one of the most perfect Easter getaway destinations you could ask for - with its own onsite #craftbrewery @camelrockbrewery plus all the fun of fishing and water sports on the lake! Anyone out there staying here this weekend? Give us a shout out! We can imagine you might have gone out game fishing for #goodfriday lunch and also enjoyed nearby #camelrockbeach and #bluepool . Yesterday we took you to this fantastic destination in the show - if you missed it, catch up online at our website - link in our bio! . Have a great Easter! Who is up for some fun in and around the water? This afternoon we are taking you to one of the biggest and best aquatic playgrounds in the country - beautiful Gippsland Lakes and @lakesentrance in Victoria! With inland waterways ten times the size of Sydney Harbour to discover, plus the wide open 90 Mile Beach on Bass Strait, you are spoiled for choice down here - so join us at 1.30pm on Channel Ten (and WIN) to check out some of the best things to do!

Ride the koalas! Who knew about Raymond Island aka. “Koala Island” in the Gippsland Lakes just a short ferry ride from Paynesville? It’s only 6km x 2km and has a flourishing population of koalas after some were relocated here in the 1950’s to try and regenerate their population. It worked and today you can ride the 1.2km Koala Trail on these fun Surrey Bikes with Ride the Koalas! You literally spot the ‘s everywhere! Perfect for young and old This is one of the more unique experiences you can find in #Australia ! Just off Granite Island near Victor Harbor in SA is the @oceanicvictor - a pontoon where you can go swimming with the “Ferrari’s of the sea” - Blue Fin Tuna! It is a huge in-sea aquarium where you can either swim with the tuna or watch them from an underwater observatory. Now...... I weigh 56 kilos and these tuna are up to 55 kilos each... and they are one of the fastest fish in the ocean! I can say swimming alongside them has given me a whole new appreciation of this fish - I might have even jumped on my guide and owner Mike’s back a couple of times when they came at me! Seriously though it was a totally incredible and fun experience - can’t wait to share it in our new series!
