We are so lucky here in Australia to be blessed with so many incredible opportunities to set up a caravan or camper trailer and enjoy the great outdoors. From the outback to the bush, the mountains to the coast – we have it all and everywhere you go, there are amazing campgrounds and holiday parks to base yourselves.
These kinds of holidays are IDEAL for families…. Getting kids into the fresh air, out exploring our amazing country, and surrounded by lots of other families with kids is, in our experience, the best kind of trip.
We have stayed in many campgrounds and parks all around Australia. In some, nature was the main attraction. In others, the amazing facilities were what we loved best. From waterparks to BMX tracks, outdoor cinemas and jumping pillows, these days the humble caravan park has come a long way.
