Great Hops Brewery sums up a vibe I loved about Armidale – it has an entrepreneurial spirit that inspires me.
Sitting on a working farm on the outskirts of Armidale, you get to see the beer being brewed right in front of you, and can see the cows are grazing in the paddock just outside the door!
It was packed with locals and a vibe that I reckon you can only get when something is built on passion…
And when you meet the owner and founder Sam Martin you’ll understand why. He’s a dreamer and a doer who is passionately giving back to the community with his love of craft beer. Hard to believe that he is also a dentist, oh and even has a fire truck that honks the horn as he parks it inside…
Oh and the beer? 10/10.
