    We would love to go back again. The scenery is unique to our great land. Think of Ularu, and what earlier explorers thought was an inland sea, Lake Eyre, the McDonald Ranges are but a couple of the scores of great sights as well as the history in the outback.

    The aboriginal art was my favourite – their art is superb and highly original.

    Just wonderful! My favourite book as a child, and later the beautiful film, was “We of The Never Never”. To visit would be great but as with the story, “Once there I’d never never want to leave!”

      We have so many cherished memories of our time there Joan, we always talk about it. for some reason its really stuck with us.. would love to re-do our big lap pf Australia one of these days soon….even though we travel all of the time, there is nothing like being on the road for months at a time – Jen x

    I have a @BigBucketList and it sure does look like Big4 have got all the TopEnd holiday needs covered. The last few times in the N.T have been due to family illness, so being able to actually see the sight’s would be a long-term dream come true.

      Looks like a fabulous place in basically the middle of Australia. It looks so great and well kept. If I am every in the area I will know where to stay.
      PS better make sure I am there on a Sunday Morning too for the pancakes.

    Top of my husband and my bucket list is to experience the Austrlian Outback. Can’t wait to visit the Red Centre and view the incredible rock formations, changing colors at dusk and dawn, the gorges, geological wonders, the ancient landscapes and Aboriginal culture. Wishing I was there right now. Outback Ballooning is also a dream of mine. Thank you so much for showing us all that we have yet to experience. Such a long way from little old Hobart.
